So, that was about 9-8 years for you, right?

Just kidding, I know nothing about your scholastic achievements or lack thereof.

I was a C student in middle school and HS. Mostly because I fricked off. I have two degrees from LSU and I graduated with around a 3.6/3.7 I think. I can't really remember. That was a long arse time ago at this point

Had one in my apartment at LSU and more than once talked girls into coming back to try it out. Well worth the investment.

I know right. Me too. My go to line was look this is a free flowing waterbed mattress and sometimes it takes a few times to get the timing down right but once you know how to ride the waves it was fun as hell. I loved mine. Turn the heater off in the summer and sleep on a block of ice. When it was cold turn the heat up until you tweaked it just right where you weren’t too hot or cold. Sadly I had to retire my beloved free flow waterbed I had from junior high until I graduated college. It was sort of a pain in the arse to move and I was ready to get a normal bed. I never had a leak in my mattress either. About a month ago I was thinking I wish I had a waterbed in the guest bedroom. For whatever reason sleeping on that thing for a night or two made by back feel good.

Seems like the logical next step is the hybrid water-bed / aquarium. Are those popular?

way...also, id think someone would have come up with a different liquid for them now that’s maybe a little more viscous?

Put a bunch of jello packets in before filling with water?

Did you think about emptying it before going up the stairs?

Duh, the frame and the headboard are still heavy and bulky as hell plus there is still the falling through the floor with a big enough leak aspect to think about. As far as the back stuff goes, it may not be that big of a deal in the deep south but in a normal winter climate it felt great having my back muscles loose the moment I got out of bed.

I'm still sleeping with my wife on the full motion waterbed I bought at Southern Comfort Waterbeds on Florida Boulevard in 1978. The heat and firmness is adjustable. A matress pad let's it breathe under you.

Dang gramps... when was the last time you bought new underwear?

Best sleep I ever got was on a waveless waterbed with the baffled sections in it. Had it until around 05'.

There is a pretty good amature porno from Mardi Gras out here if you need to get an idea of what they were like.

I disagree. A few positions are done quite well with a waterbed and the assisted wave action once you got going. Doggy is not one of them though if you are both on the bed FYI.

Talk about weird when having sex on one of these things. In late 80's my high school girlfriend had an aunt that had one and she was "taking care of the house." Weird as hell, but still think about it now and then

My parents had one.

After the third or fourth time it busted and flooded the trailer they got rid of it.

I grew up poor :(

Did not happen. You just can’t get a rhythm going. Definitely can’t long stroke it or it will come out if both of you are on it. Better to have one of you on a stable surface.
