It's funny how people want to shite on it for no reason, or some incorrect preconceived notion.
It would be like shitting on people who play rec softball, saying, "why don't you play baseball like a real athlete?".

It’s a nursing home activity that millenials picked up out of irony and the fact that you can play with a seltzer in your hand

Sad how millenials will spend $300 to try to feel like part of a group when y’all could go to church for free
Ha!!!! Millenials don’t play pickleball. It’s Gen Xers and Boomers that play pickle ball.
What church do you go to that is free? They get way more than $300 from the overwhelming majority of us that go to church with any regularity.
Also, you can do both pickleball and church. The two are not mutually exclusive, EL GROUCHO.

Play tennis.
America is already fully pussified when someone thinks tennis is macho. Just play golf, enjoy life and expect to die a couple of years sooner.

Pickle ball is not a sport
Nobody said pickleball is a sport in this thread. You just interjected it. Everyone knows it’s not a sport, it’s a skill.

27-42. Most people that play pickleball are 45 and older. Of those, the majority are actually 55 and older. There are some younger people that play, but the vast majority are 45 and older. Millenials play video games.

The average age of pickleball players is 35 according to a study that was done last year.
70% of avid players (who play at least once per month) fall between the ages of 18-44.

Dedicated pickleball players, also called core players, play the sport more than eight times a year. Their average age of 47.5 years suggests that they are generally older and more committed to pickleball. Conversely, casual players, who play pickleball less frequently, have an average age of 33.6 years
That is very screwed study. It was the average age of anyone that has ever played pickeball. Dedicated pickleball players, or core players, play the sport more than eight times a year. No it wasn't it was the average age of players who play at least once per month.

Is padel ball a thing in the US? These courts are popping up all over in Dubai. It's like a cross between tennis and squash.
