Asked the question on H&G but got nothing.

We have a shitter with one if those pressure tanks It and it has split and the water is just running. Can we replace with just a regular flapper style or have to go back with another pressure tank?

Pretty positive you will have to go back with the tank.

I doubt it probably will have to replace the whole tank. Might be able to change out the tank alone if you get a tank from the same manufacturer, that might save you having to replace the bowl also.

no, if its a power flush toilet, then you cant change that setup, you have to replace whats bad or change the toilet

Wil probably be a pretty big overhaul, if you can do it at all, and it probably won't work very well if you are successful. The bowl was made to take advantage of additional pressure from the pressure assist tank. Convert that over to simple gravity, and very little is likely to work like it should,

I would just hit Lowes up for an American Standard Cadet, and install it, just to save the frustration.

If you are bound and determined, the first thing you will need to find will be a flapper assembly that fits the hole in your bowl. That alone may be impossible, because of the way the bowl is made on a pressure assist toilet. Supply side should be easy, with a fliudmaster FL400.

Then you have the handle or actuator to deal with, because on most PA toilets, it is a button of some kind. If yours is this way, you'll have to be able to convert that over to a regular handle with the little chain to connect to the flapper.

This particular one is a Sloan Flushmater.

May try the Flex Seal first since I’m an OT Poor before I cough up another $150 for a new pressure tank

You can probably buy a decent regular toilet complete for 150. Either way, good luck!
