Thinking about trying to pickup some work.
Any one have a contact or any advice, instead of me just showing up with a truck and hanging out at a home depot?

I know several people that did this after Katrina and it’s exactly as he described. I’d compare it to doing fire watch, watch everyone else work while you’re bored as hell.
