Coupled with that.

Rawlins is a shite hole. The whole I-80 corridor from Evanston to Laramie sucks badly. The Rock Springs area is by far the best along that corridor. That isn't enough to put up with endless days of below -20 with extremely high winds.

I just finished a little stint between Kemmerer and Pinedale. Yet another area of total wasteland.

This. Every moron that hasn’t been thinks it’s all Jackson Hole and Tetons.
The place is largely the biggest shite hole in the states. Vast, boring arid land with the occasional meth trailer scattered about. Anyone that thinks Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, New Mexico, Mississippi and such suck are grossly mistaken. That said, the northwest portion is some of the best in the States.

Good elk hunting around Ferris. Difficult to draw a tag though. I harvested a nice antelope buck on blm land bordering Pathfinder ranch.

Interestingly, they don't mention that the state prison is right on the other side of i-80...

I think I’d settle for a couple thousand acres. And purchase first dibs on surrounding properties.

I hope an American buys it. Would really sting if a piece of land with that much beauty and history went to a foreigner

Rawlins? If he said Rawlins is heaven on earth, he needs to be checked.

I wonder what the realtor's cut is for selling the property.

Enough to retire on?

Even IF you could come up with $79,000,000, property taxes alone would still be about $500K annually. Who has this kind of money?
