Haven't thought about this place in years. I spent many hours there as a kid.

While most everything is built to some scale, I believe this

I’ve used one of those silicon molds to model my cock into a dildo

would be in the miniature class.

I do 1/350 scale warships, mostly Russian vessels. I do tanks and air defense vehicles and some aircraft here and there. Never let scale or number of pieces intimidate you. My 29 inch long Russian Kirov class cruiser was a whole hell of a lot easier to do than my 1/35 scale 8 inch Russian SA-15.

If you go to Model Warships, there is a large forum and you can see some of the top model builders doing it. It's amazing what people can scratch build.

The Gorre and Daphetid model railroad was a modeling masterpiece. It burned up in a fire, unfortunately.

Tamiya Models is the Gold Standard for warship models.

The are so detailed that they can be use as architectural prototypes.

I built a handful when I was a kid. First it was WWII aircraft, and later spacecraft (Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Vostok, Soyuz). I wasn’t very good at it though. Sooner or later they broke and got tossed.

Those that are really good at it though- a tip of the cap to you. Really amazing stuff.

I loved building model cars from kits, especially old cars, when I was a kid. Lost interest in my late teens. Wish I still had the interest. Those pics show how artistic the hobby can become.

There was a guy in Ellick who made model planes and boats. Mostly WWII stuff. He made a scale copy of a locomotive and put a track in his backyard. You could take a ride on the train. He passed away probably 10 years ago. He made a RC scale landing craft but he sunk it.

Remember doing something like this. That was the extent of my model building.

I’ve loved to build models since I was a kid. My avatar is my last build. Finished it a few weeks ago. Now I’m working on a Wespe SPG.

Some sex toy company paid me some money to do this to mine. They said they wanted a replica of a real 9" penis.

My husband has built quite a few scratch built naval vessels and one Titanic. When I showed him the sunken Titanic he knew exactly what it was because he'd built it from the original plans.

One other thing that really impressed him was the 'weathering' and aging that some of these photos show. As he said, "that what makes them art".

Thank you for the links and photos.
