When I was 16 and mowing the yard of a retired veterinarian who's yard was adjacent to a drainage ditch. He had a riding lawnmower that I had never used before, he gave me a lesson before he left. Of course I rolled it over on that drainage ditch slope, lucky I wasn't maimed.

My first zero turn was an Exmark,2nd time I used it I flipped it upside down.Had rollbar and was wearing seatbelt. My wife was pissed.

Turned my tractor with FEL over.My first instinct was to try and jump but I know better,I just held on to fender and steering wheel and rode it down.Thankfully my neighbor with a beast of a tractor was home and got me back upright without wife knowing about it.

No , but I did have one catch on fire while I was operating it.
I was probably 13 at the time . Dad bought a Yazoo lawnmower and I couldn't wait to use it. I was almost finished with the yard when I passed around our tin shed. Then I felt this intense heat on my neck like the Sun just went supernova on me. A neighbor happened to be watching and pointed with a frightening look in his face. I turned around and seen fire in my face. By the time I jumped off he already had a pale of water to put out the flames from our pond. It all happened quick like in 5 seconds.
Come to find out the fuel line was ran right over the carburetor and when I passed by the shed a piece of tin was sticking out and it sliced the fuel line spilling gas on to carburetor.
I thought my dad was going whip my arse like never before but no he was just glad I was okay and didn't put any blame on me.

Get the Exmark stuck every now and then on its side, in the ditch road side. Ground just saturates there and it can get iffy but I'm lazy and hate weedeating it.

I have some rope I pull it out with but if you pull at the wrong angle, its going over, son.

Lucky I never been that much of an idiot when it comes to understanding how to counterbalance weight and take the right angles.

Flipped a riding mower when I was 14 or 15. My sister is 12 years younger than me and she loved riding the mower. I noticed I could pop the clutch in the ditch and do a wheelie. Got a little too aggressive and flipped it on us. Held it off while she crawled out and flipped it back over. Parents only recently found out about it. Did this back in the 90s.

No, but if I tried to mow part of mine after the county worked on utility lines and “improved” the drainage I sure would. That bit is just going to have to be weeds

Had a neighbor on his tractor with the disc behind him tilling up the dirt. He caught a tree branch which pulled him off the tractor and the disc tilled him up. RIP

I got a special skill (to me) where I can mow with my zero turn with one hand and hold a beer in the other.

Ole baw should have been mowing that stretch up and down the hill instead of trying to take the shortcut.

Not a lawn mower, but I was helping my good friend lay some concrete behind his house. The concrete truck was at the street and we were hauling the concrete from the truck to the form. We only had an hour to haul several yards of concrete. We're hauling arse, him on the riding Georgia bucket and a few of us with wheel barrows. I was heading one way, he was heading the other. His buggy was full of concrete and he tried to 'juke' like he was going to run over me. He made his juke move and caught momentum and flung his arse almost 10 yards to the right. He was scraped and his ego was bruised but he was ok. I'd pay $500 to have that on video.
