You might as well get it. There are plenty of turds in this country that will always get $$$ from the government although they have never contributed a thing to society.
So because other people game the system, you should too? Solid logic.

Any Disabled Vets been successful at upgrading their rating after they get out?
My father retired back in 2010 at 50%, now he's at 80%. Same thing with sleep apnea and his knees are getting progressively worse.
Him telling the story of the sleep apnea study they do and all the gizmos you're hooked up to, frick I doubt I would be able to sleep.

I really didn't. They had 10-15 wires hooked up to me and 2 things stuck up my nose. It sucked.

That's not really what I was saying at all. I was implying that he shouldn't feel bad about it. He served his time, did his deployments, and if the VA sees his rating as worthy then he shouldn't feel bad about getting it.
How many tours did you do, bro?

Use a disability calculator to see if it would even be more money in your pocket. They don't just add the percentages together. It might stay at 60% anyway even if you got rated for it.

Hahaha. Is this the standard now? More tours equals more deserving? Some people eat ice cream and play video games all day on tour. Some consider going shopping at the mall in Qatar a tour. I have no problem with those deserving getting the benefits. If it offends someone that I don't like people scamming it then they must have their own reservations. I learned integrity and self respect during my time in service. I personally would never scam money and make it that much harder for someone deserving from getting what they need to survive.

That's not the standard, but if he's never put a uniform on or gone overseas he shouldn't have an input.
