Been working out almost every other day for the past 6 weeks. Got some BP readings around 125/80 now. Use to be much worse. Been trying to lay off the fried food lately too

You mean to say being active and eating better is healthy? Cray

That's a globalist myth. Cocaine is what Trump uses.

Mine actually went down with weight training and cardio. Didn’t really change my diet at all.

I think cardio and weight go a long way in improving blood pressure. It’s not always just your diet.

Beet pills/juice lower blood pressure that’s a natural remedy. Doesn’t taste very good but they work.

Yep…a small amount of exercise and cutting back on caffeine has worked wonders on my blood pressure and also my blood sugar.

Yes, makes a huge difference.

My problem was I ate almost no greens. I still struggle with it.

Absolutely. Excercise and lifting will chop the knees out of your BP.

I have genetic high BP.
Have since HS. Scholarship track athlete.

I manage with drugs.

Doctors have always told me, lifestyle is like 95+% of high BP.

Most everyone with high BP could eliminate it with a decent diet and some exercise.

Yes and you just feel so much better when you do too. More energy, clearer mind. Those two things go a long way for your health. You don’t even need to pump iron, just go run everyday. Running is the best exercise you could ever do.

My doctor said I had the palate of a ten year old.

I did the sauna everyday during my lunch break. It lowered my BP within a week and I slept like a log.

Running is great for cardio.
Swimming too. And adds some strength.

I quit smoking in January. I started working out and changed my diet. My blood pressure changed big time. Now, I have to figure out how to get the wife to quit nagging me!

Mine is due to genetics on both sides, both took BP meds since their 40's. I'm in my late 20's and was getting readings a little less than 145/90 constantly and would occasionally get a random headache some nights at work with a clean diet and exercise 4x a week. Doctor told me it wasn't bad enough for meds yet, that genetics are a b#tch you can't beat, and to keep checking it. One day after a fishing trip I felt great and decided to check my BP, it was 163/96 so I called the doc and been on lisinopril 5mg daily ever since. If I'm ever told I need to up the dose I'll look into other over the counter options like others are taking.

Over 60 and mine has stayed close to 120/80 all my adult life. Doesn't matter if I exercise or not, overweight or not. smoke a pack of cigarettes per day or not at all.

BP and cholesterol went down when I lowered my body fat percentage. I was skinny fat. 175lbs and 25% body fat. I weigh the same at 20% body fat and healthy numbers.
