A great supplement to help is called Michael’s Blood Pressure Factors.

Check it out on Amazon or where ever. Really helps reach your goals, especially with diet and exercise. Makes your improvements permanent.

Over 60 and mine has stayed close to 120/80 all my adult life. Doesn't matter if I exercise or not, overweight or not. smoke a pack of cigarettes per day or not at all
What a helpful response.

Lost 30 pounds seven years ago, and walk all the time, BP hasn’t been over 130/80 since.

Lost weight and exercise daily but I still need a mild dose of meds to keep it consistent. I guess mine is genetic.

simply quit drinking and mine went from 165/110 to 120/75. But I was drinking A TON.
Damn that’s almost exactly like mine was a few weeks ago when the doc put me on BP meds. I haven’t taken them yet and I quit drinking since and I’m back to 120/75 in the mornings. It’s a little higher when I measure in the evenings but not as high as 160/110 anymore.

I, too, am on Lisonopril. Genetics got me as well. I’m 43 years old 6’ and 185. Eat healthy and am active. What else can you do!

I struggled with high blood pressure for years. Take HBP meds. Lost 50+ lbs. Started running long distances. Made some diet changes. Even with all of these changes my blood pressure still remained high.

I drastically cut back on drinking alcohol and saw my numbers magically get better. What was 140/90 turned into low 120s/sub 80s. When I drink the night before and take a reading the next morning my diastolic typically jumps back into the 80s.

Seriously check you alcohol intake and monitor it's effects on your body.

Same was 160/115 few years ago. Quit drinking last year whole new diet. Off lisinopril normal bp now and shi$ load more energy and clear mind. Lift weights 3 to 4 times week. No more feeling flushed and hot and like crap. Quitting drinking, exercise. diet you will feel like a new person baw.

My problem was I ate almost no greens. I still struggle with it.

The way I try to get more greens is with those bags of pre-washed lettuce or spinach. It goes with almost anything you eat. There’s so much water in Romaine, I don’t use any dressing and I’ll eat about 1/3 of a bag at a meal.

I had blood work done and several deficiencies that more vegetables would help with. I kept hearing the Athletic Greens promo so I said what the hell. Recent blood work has show positive results and my Dr said to stick with it

It should and especially if you pay close attention to your Sodium/Salt intake. Be a label reader and look for excessive sodium and also sugar.

Why would you have to eat greens?

Yessir. I would sweat all of the time, had issues snoring, all that.

I was a mess.
