So in 2 days she can't talk for 5 minutes or text you?

You are an idiot if you believe that's the case, even with the busiest nurse in Earth.

About what? I don't know. But she's fricking lying about something.

Dump that bitch

Run away, you'll always come second and it will grow frustrating

I honestly don't know what her deal was. I told him this over and over. I mean, I'm 37 and currently trying now. If I'm not pregnant before I'm 39...that's it for me, obviously means I'm not meant to get pregnant.

The risk is the age you are when you HAVE the child. Granted I do know women that have completely healthy babies after 40, I just cannot take that risk in good conscience.

How old is she, and what kind of career?

Guy already logged off. I hate when people start threads and then don't answer any questions.

How hard is it to send one text during the day. I know people who work in the ER that find time to text their SO.

She's lowering expectations for some reason, and it's not only career.

Her saying she can't reply for a few days just shows that she is incredibly selfish and not capable of being able to commit to a relationship.

Ain't that the truth. I'm finding myself getting angry more at work now when I care for these poor kids that have POS parents that just keep popping out kid after kid after kid. It's always aggravated me, but now on a more personal level.

I'm not the one who looked to marry mom so I was always attracted to and wound up marrying a girl who was career driven.

Plus whenever you're a day late on your period don't waste a dollar on a pregnacy test go to the ER and get one and if it's raining take an ambulance

Same here. It would be useful to know those things.

Not all careers are the same. It's one thing to be committed to being gainfully employed so as to be financially independent of a spouse, because you can easily start a family, but it's quite another to be traveling around the world three weeks out of the month, or say, being in a medical profession that requires many years of education, and perhaps a lot of call.

Just how insecure are you?

Does it bother you that you can't control her?

And free ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. Just call 911 for my free ride to the ER because I'm having "abdominal pains".

And when the baby is born...why buy tylenol for baby's fever...the ER will give it to me free!! And I can bring my whole family with me as well cause they are hungry and want free sandwiches.

A woman with ambition and a strong work ethic? How dare she. Doesn't she know a woman's place is in the kitchen and laundry room?

If you want to break her of that, for reasons that are incomprehensible to me, just make sure you go out and have lots of fun while she's working. She'll get jealous pretty quickly, and become the stay at home wife you desire.
