The anti-fascist protest movement known as antifa gained new prominence in the United States after the white supremacist Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA, in August 2017. In Charlottesville and at many subsequent events held by white supremacists or right-wing extremists, antifa activists have aggressively confronted what they believe to be authoritarian movements and groups. While most counter-protestors tend to be peaceful, there have been several instances where encounters between antifa and the far-right have turned violent.
These violent counter-protesters are often part of “antifa” (short for “antifascist”), a loose collection of groups, networks and individuals who believe in active, aggressive opposition to far right-wing movements. Their ideology is rooted in the assumption that the Nazi party would never have been able to come to power in Germany if people had more aggressively fought them in the streets in the 1920s and 30s. Most antifa come from the anarchist movement or from the far left, though since the 2016 presidential election, some people with more mainstream political backgrounds have also joined their ranks

You are wrong.
Just because they don't have a tax I.D. number doesn't mean they aren't an "organization".
They are identifiable as a group and have communication (organization) between each other.
They ARE being monitored. I know someone that is doing that.
No you don’t.
And you’re still confusing a loosely held movement with an organization with a shared mission goal and leadership structure.
I don’t think you realize the legal murkiness of classifying domestic terror groups willynilly.
Furthermore.
“ Although "domestic terrorism" is defined in the Patriot Act of 2001, there is no specific federal crime covering acts of terrorism inside the U.S. that are not connected to al Qaeda, ISIS, other officially designated international terror groups or their sympathizers.”

By all means though. Enjoy The Don sucking off his radical Base without any current ability to back yet another claim.

right. a loose connection of networks of people is an "organization" and they DO support a particular purpose
this semantics pivot to pretend ANTIFA is just a "fictitious organization" is beyond embarrassing.

Your link is shite and it's sad you truly believe a description like this.

Yet still your shite link confirms they are an organization

You could not be more wrong. I can’t stand Donald Trump but Antifa is a terrorist organization and needs to be taken down. They paint anyone who is center or right as Facists and they are Anarchists who want to take down America, capitalism and everything this country stands for. Anyone who can’t see this is blinded by their own stupidity. And they are currently hijacking a well justified national protest to further their own causes. It’s wrong on so many levels and they are going to pay for it finally.

Liberals.
Last week: "Antifa are anti-fascist heroes who are fighting against Trump's fascism."
Yesterday: "Antifa are white supremacists, actually."
Today: "Antifa doesn't exist."

Anyone defending ANTIFA is either misinformed and ignorant or just a piece of trash.
