Do these inner cities have racist statues? That should be the first order of business.

In High School I had a math teacher, who was black, and she hated black kids that "fitted the stereotype". She use to tell them "you are the reason everybody things all black people are stupid". One day this black dude said something to this girl who told him something and he was like "guuuur, stop playing wit me". The teacher told him "you sound just like a plantation n----. The word is GIRL and you can't come back into this classroom until you get a poster paper and in green ink (school colors), right the word GIRL until it fills up one whole side of the poster paper and it better be in your normal handwriting".

I have been out of HS for almost 19 years.. I ran into her maybe 6 or 7 years ago and she told me she retired the previous year. She told me she just couldn't deal with it anymore because they last few years she had parents calling her because their kid was upset about something she said and that in her last 3 years, she had more meeting with the principle than she had in all her years teaching before the past 3 years. She was all like "he would try to tell me how to run my classroom and that I should say this to the kids instead of that" and she went on about how it got to the point where she would teach, but she wouldn't say a word to the students. They would talk and get loud, but since she couldn't say anything to them without someone getting upset, it was their problem if they didn't listen.

So what I am saying is.. There has definitely been a change in the behavior of kids coming out of high school for years, I guess it has been a gradual process, but kids come out thinking the world revolves around them and that shame on anyone who says something they don't want to hear. What the teacher said might have been a little on the extreme side, but its the truth. If they don't want to get educated then they are likely to end up in jail, dead, etc..

You can say that in truthful and harsh waays without being demeaning.

She'll never know how it feels to be called that word. He's unhirable in any setting with kids IMO

My brother teaches at an inner city school. Last week a student came up to him in the parking lot after school and started shoving him. He told me he just backed up and put his arms by his side while the shoving continued.

I asked why he did this and he said several mommas were there and pulled out their phones. He said if he retaliated he knew what segment would be on youtube.

A policeman saw this and came over and stopped the young scholar and told my brother he would arrest him for assault if my brother would press charges. Brother said no because if a student was arrested he, brother, would be immediately suspended pending an investigation by the school board. Regardless of the outcome a report would go into his personnel file.

I told my brother to start carrying or get out of that school.

Your title should read "Teacher about to be fired for telling the truth."

That is terrible. The kids don't have to take responsibility for anything. How did things get to that point? Are school systems afraid of lawsuits? How do they expect to get quality teachers if they teachers have no one backing them up when something happens?
