Jesus

What the hell do you do with these people? Quarantine them? Jail isn't going to help. Mandatory rehab isn't going to help more than likely. And to shove the kid into harms way - that is sickening :sad banana:

do her kid and the world a favor and let her die. give the child a chance with foster parents that might actually give a shite about him/her

I am surprised we don't hear these stories every day. If there is every anything close to people becoming zombies... Its heroin addicts.

I was talking to someone who had a family member that dealt with this for years. Apparently he said he wished his kid died much sooner due to all the problems she caused over the years just trying to get her next fix.

She clearly has a drug problem, putting her in jail with no rehabilitation wil not solve the problem.

10 years ago to "OD" meant you died. When did that change?

Maybe to you, but to OD has never meant someone dies

How did Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin die?

I don't know how else to explain to you that overdosing doesn't mean someone automatically dies. It is possible to die from an overdose but an overdose is not always fatal.

I'm honestly ignorant here, but why would you do Heroin in your vehicle? She wasn't going to drive was she? Or did she just need the fix that fast she couldn't wait?

I'm not sure why anything a meth head or heroin addict does is surprising, I mean they do meth or heroin which is about as bad of a decision as you can make in the first place.
