There's nowhere to park in that area and if you find a spot you'll either get mugged or hassled by a homeless.

Good to have you back. You may be the last remaining “better than ever guy”. Which may be less ridiculous than ghost town guy on page 1.

Resturants are always coming and going in that stretch. Irish House closed, the guy with the killer Pizza, the fondue place. Just one that will probably be replaced later.

Sucks, but restaurants are a tough business.

Finally a bit of logic in this thread. That stretch is no better/worse than the average street with a mix of restaurants/bars/other stuff. Its actually much improved from the pre-Katrina/early post-Katrina years when Central City was really, really bad.

Also 4+ pages about a pizza restaurant that is not even in the top 20 pizza places in the City, man the OT really loves to talk about New Orleans.

I mean look NOLA is in shambles right now. It sucks.

But slice closing isn’t because of that

Tito's is opening in St Charles Tavern.

I saw that and was curious. I work in the lower garden district and see it in passing.

Slice uptown on magazine was good. Closed a few years ago. I miss it.

Is there already a Juans on that section of St Charles or is that what Slice will be?

It's a good restaurant...you wouldn't be interested.

Juan’s and Slice are owned by the same people.

The Magazine location was Slice then Juan’s. They left the space due to the increase in rent.

The Slice on St Charles was not good.

There are 20+ new construction homes being built three blocks away. Long term the area will be much improved when people more people are living in the immediate area.

Slice leaving doesn’t bother me at all.
