Other than the fact that not buckling up is not a guarantee that a person will die, it is just like suicide.

I feel extremely vulnerable if I don’t have a seat buckle on and I grew up when it wasn’t against the law to not wear them. I’ve always worn them.

Back in the 80s not many folks wore them. But also the speed limit was 55 and much less traffic. The drivers then were much more careful, as compared to a Dodge charger going 100 while hugging your bumper in present time
