We never here in the news of a "man shot at corner of white oak and Hagerstown" or "woman carjacked at gunpoint near CCL and Highland"

This is Old South BR in discussion here.

shite culture produces shite results

When murder is glorified in every aspect of culture, murder tends to happen

Crime happens in those areas on occasion, and the usual suspects on the internet love to point it out. But what they usually fail to mention is where the one committing the crime comes from.

you do actually

last time i was in BR there was a shooting on College near OLOL about a week after a bank robbery on Jefferson near Whole Foods

I guess I should have started a thread on tSECR telling fans of other schools not to come to BR when they play LSU

Hell, maybe I should do that right now

It's not very far from LSU, the Water District and the future Tram.

This isn't in 70805.

Because it's the blacks that are violent and don't value life or their future. Not many blacks in that area therefore not many senseless killings. Everyone knows the problem but it's not like we can do anything about it.

I'll edit that 2nd part out. No need to get banned right before the long weekend.

These are all true but let's not pretend like this is a good area. Everyone in BR knows the president streets are a no go.

and you're just as fine in NOLA if you use common sense, yet TD.com is so triggered by Mitch they have lost all sense of reality and are now going way way overboard.

Well you know quite well the reason people are telling others to avoid NOLA is because the people attacked have been in tourist areas. Not many tourists to BR will be looking to go to this area.

Do their plans involve visiting north baton rouge?

E. Polk isn't in north baton rouge, it's in south baton rouge between LSU and downtown.

He does make a good point tho... the shite has seeped into the tourist areas in NOLA... at least in BR there is a defined area of garbage, and it very rarely makes its way to the other side... as for BR tourists, I can only guess that means ppl coming for college sports... But yea, not a lot

Look at the interactive homicide map
here

You see how under the interstate there is nothing... try again, it's been this way for years and years

Eta: it's clear you dont know what you're talking about
