Srixon Q Star in yellow. Great performing ball for the price. I have no need for tour level balls, and likely most people here don't either.

I agree with the above. As I get older I am much less concerned with trying to impress beyond my ability. The yellow is much easier for my aging eyes to find. I can use the dollars saved on the balls to fund the on course beer. While my golf skills have not improved as I age, my beer drinking skills have.

Pro V1 or Bridgestone E6 when I want to save a few bucks

Srixon Q Star is definitely a good ball also

I remember you telling me how you used to hit these and I bought a dozen.

They're OK, nothing special.

yeah just saw that, for my game, 24 used balls cheaper than a dozen new ones is a no brainer, they say they are mint, good enough for me to hit in the woods and the water

Range balls. Golf is 90% mental and 40% physical. If you're not worried about losing a $6 Pro V1 every shot, your game gets a lot better.

I prefer lostgolfballs because their warehouse is on my way home from work so I can stop by and get the internet deals with no shipping.

Buy 2 get 1 free dozen Bridgestone e6 all day...

I've used these a couple of times and love them.

Almost prefer them over a pro v1.

I just looked at that site.

They don't even have any of the later model golf balls.

Everything is like 3-5 years old like the website is frozen in time.

what do you think about Bridgestone balls?

I've hit almost all of there models and I love them.

The B330 has an awesome feel to it.

Seems like the previous year B330S is easy to find cheap. Going to try the Chrome Soft soon though.

Same here. I still have a dozen or so B330S from the last time I bought balls. When those are gone I'm going to give the Chrome Softs a try.

If you want a play that plays similar to Pro V's but are somewhat cheaper ($33 dozen) the Taylormade project alpha is a great ball.

I have been using Titleist ProV1X for several years, but I've recently been testing Bridgestone 330RX and I'm pretty impressed with that ball as well. The Bridgestone seems to be a couple yards longer for me, but I have not been able to spin them around the greens as much as a ProV. I am waiting to see how the Bridgestones perform when the weather is warmer and the greens are not dormant.

I just bought some Taylormade Project (a) balls on lostgolfballs.com. As soon as I stop losing them I'll report on their performance.

I just bought 3 dozen of those off lostgolfballs.com for about $20 (buy 2, get one free special). AAAA quality which means slightly used, most of the balls looked pretty new though.

Project A's are not in the same class as ProV1

I didn't like them

Bridgestone balls are good balls, they just aren't usually cheap enough for me
