Terrorist attacks shouldn't change the way we live, and certainly shouldn't grant law enforcement extra power.
So you'd prefer if we just walked into airports and didn't have to be searched at all? Just tell the TFA agents to go frick themselves and quit illegally searching me? No i'm not taking off my god damn shoes, you have no reason to search me.
I understand the argument, and constitution, that they should not be violating my rights and illegally searching my property to find a fugitive. But why do you really give a shite if they do that? Are you that stubborn about the constitution and not capable of reasoning?
Officer: "Excuse me sir, you mind if we take a look in your backyard? we have it on good authority that the fugitive Boston Marathon Bomber is in this area and we want to make sure he's not hiding in your boat or shed back there?
American: "no officer. You have no right to search my property. Good luck finding the criminal that could possibly be hiding on my property. I chose not to assist in helping you catch a terrorist b/c i'm an American and i don't want you violating my rights"
Officer: "sure thing Mr. Dumbass. I'll be sure to watch out for you on the roadways tomorrow when you leave for work. Being how strict I know you are about the law, i'm certain you won't exceed the posted speed limit by even 1mph, and you will always come to a complete stop at all stop signs, less i write you a ticket."

Did you really use the TSA as a pro freedom taking argument? The same TSA that is constantly shown to be dysfunctional, hire terrible people, and all around hasn't helped anything?

I don't think you understand how the Constitution or the right to privacy works.

If the airlines want me to spend my money then they should not make it difficult to fly. The opposite should be true in fact, it should be easy to fly if they expect me to hand them money. I've not flown commercial airlines since before they imposed the TSA crap and I will never as long as it is a bitch to get on board.
I've not attended any events that require screening (concerts, sporting events, not so much as entered a public building with metal detectors). Capitalism and voting with my money. I will not succumb to the fear and terror instilled not only from outside our nation, but, also from factions within.

So the same group that leaked all of Ashley Madison's users, is trying to defend this....

well they are clearly talking about holding the police responsible and not about filming gun fights

When there is a terrorist attack on our soil I rather law enforcement be aggressive and doing what they have to do to find the terrorist or the motivation behind the attacks. I rather have law enforcement "violate" my rights than have people commit acts that change the way we live.
Hell no. This sentiment got us the patriot act and the TSA. Look up the quote on freedom/liberty and security. It's spot on.
When you start giving up Liberty for security you lose both.
