Who knows? The insurer or medical board may handle that. And there has to be proof of fraud. What was the fraud? The hemorrhoid? Wouldn't change what insurance pays.

I listened to the audio and I was more disturbed by it than I thought I'd be. What a bunch of shitty people.. and to think we trust them with our intimate problems and our lives.

Hold those with great responsibilities accountable to a high ducking standard. Your book intellect and your $ in your wallet doesn't excuse you from being a shitty low grade person

I hope people start taking a stand against shitty doctors with no regard for their patients. Idgaf how educated you are, you can still lie, cheat, and steal. There was a very prominent doctor that worked at MD Anderson cancer research center in Houston who was busted for child pornography. Education does not make you good person.

Was he injured in any way? If they performed the service then he shouldn't have a case. I'm sure a lawyer sees it differently but I see no injury.

True. But this isn't limited to doctors. This is people worldwide. All races, nationalities, and occupations. Everybody has been shitty at some point or other. Some WAAAAAAAAAY more than others.

I don't work for MDs but I feel alot of empathy for highly educated under paid individuals that come out of school with 400K in debt..
What?
All I can say is I hope thepeople in our country going to med school want to care for people, I don't want those going who just want the prestige of being a doctor of medicine, or hope to simply earn lots of money. i think those not in it for the people show themselves eventually anyways.

For sure, but I find people give educated people too much leeway when it comes to moral decisions, or about things that aren't directly related to their profession. They also need to understand that a lying doctor, or one that just takes advantage of patients is worse than having no doctor at all in many cases.

Anyone else think this is awfully convenient? Is it a stretch to say he knew someone that was familiar with this doctor's lack of professionalism, so he acted out to draw her ire while secretly recording it.

That's a good line to be in $$$ wise, especially if you're certified

$500K for that?!?! What actual harm did he suffer, other than the false diagnosis?
Seriously, if I sit in my buddy's office talking shite about someone, is that any different? There are worse direct insults on TD everyday.

Again, I think yall missed the fact that the GI doc was released from the case...........THE ANESTHESIOLOGIST didn't lie about anything, she just called him names, yet she and the anesthesia group were the losing party here......
Posted on 6/25/15 at 8:53 am to L S Usetheforce
Who said they were charting a hemorrhoid and he didn't have one? I thought it was the anesthesiologist; and the worse thing the GI doc said was, as long as it is not, ebola?

That can be looked at as a form of fraud though. You are falsifying medical information....HUGE NO NO.

And that doctor was dismissed from case.....meanwhile the comedian anesthesiologist lost her career
