Serious question, do you really believe this? I have 3 sons aged 19, 27 and 27 (twins) and I dont see that at all with them or their peer group.
Yes.
I don't think your anecdotal story proves much. There's a reason why this guy is popular. Unfortunately, the people that hate this guy the most have never once stopped to analyze or ask why he's so popular. The truth is that they don't care because they hate his persona and it counters the main narrative that's been concocted over the last decade, especially towards men.

Ok, but that demographic is twisting in the wind because people are saying bad things about them? I dont buy that.
I know you don't, but it's true.
It's not just that people are saying bad things about them, it's also an increasingly isolated digital world, a mainstream narrative, especially in academia, that tells young men they have to repent for sins they never committed, being economically stagnant, a digital dating scene that makes them feel inferior for not meeting unrealistic expectations of women, etc, etc.
You may not see it where you are, but I guarantee it's out there, probably more so in large metro areas.

I think this description of what’s going on is minimalistic.
You’re dealing with the widespread subversion of all Western cultural norms. This certainly leaves traditionalists in a lurch.

The incels who find inspiration in Tate are and were losers regardless of what society “tells us about men.” They now just have a hero that reinforces their innate victimhood.
Real “alphas” aren’t worried about what society says about them. They’re out there fricking chicks, getting degrees, establishing careers, getting married and having and raising kids. Not fretting about it on the internet.
The fedora crowd always existed. They can now congregate and be visible as a monolithic bloc due to the internet and have charlatans like Tate soothe them that’s it’s not their fault they’re losers; it’s society’s fault.

How does he make money? Is it from advertisers on his social media stuff?

If anyone spent some time actually listening to what he says for more than a 30 second tik tok clip, they'd see that he's saying some things that are helpful to that demographic that's currently twisting in the wind.
Conservatives/tradionalists/Libertarians/anyone who leans at all right of center should have learned over the last 6 years that character matters.
The character of “the messenger” is vitally important if there’s to be any sort of re-balancing in our social system.

He shills for various scams and then hosts a “university” that people pay monthly to participate in.

He sells people these "how to get rich" nonsense packages
The whole reason for his online presence is to grift people with this BS

If you listen to what he's saying, he's ultimately telling these people to stop being losers and victims and get to work. Again, if you listen to his long format interviews, that's his message to dudes that are emailing him and complaining.

Once again, I'm not trying to defend his being a massive douche, I'm just saying he's been mischaracterized by a combination of politically and socially motivated media and people who listen to him in 30 second clips.

Masculinity comes from striving towards patriarchal eldership.
Worship God and grow in wisdom, Marry a woman of high character, father & raise children, and spend your life working towards something both economically and communally profitable.

His recent income is significantly based on being an Onlyfans whoremonger and teaching others the craft.

I agree that character matters. He's not the best vessel for the message. However, if the powers that be see that someone is effectively countering the narrative, they'll do everything in their power to ensure that individual is silenced. And that's not some whacko conspiracy theory. We've seen recently that the US government has no problem crossing very clear lines to do that.

I don’t have a side one way or another on this, as I consider myself uninformed.
With that said, I trust the Romanian Government is one filled with absolute integrity and values a fair justice process.
I also imagine that his trial will take place in some sort of gypsy wagon and the verdict will be followed by tambourines being played.

My issue is more with the assertion this fedora crowd is a new phenomenon that sprung up “because what society says about men”.
These dudes always existed. It’s not a function of feminism in the last thirty years. It’s weak and absent fathers and the lower end of a bell curve being filled with innate losers.
Tate just saw an opportunity to monetize their weakness as the internet allowed them to find one another.
Blaming it on a macro force like feminism allows them to ignore the micro forces at play like personal responsibility and overcoming adversity.

Yeah. And I bet a dollar this guys demographic has a large chunk of 30 and 40 year old married males who hate their life.

Yeah, for a young white male that is doing what he should be doing its a wonderful time to be alive.

Plenty of flawed individuals have provided meaningful messages to people throughout history.
Nobody is perfect.
