A god is anything idolized. If an englishman came on a boat and gave you new technology many would consider him an idol/god. BUT the problem with it just being other humans is, the technology needed doesn't seem to be available to anyone at that time so you would expect someone who may have furthered tech to be the culprit.
And it is a reasonable assumption that humans weren't coming down from the skies, either. Which again points to humans not likely being the source.

Then again, I wouldn't 100% believe stories. If Humans descended from a mountain it could be interpreted as coming from the sky.
Of course they will make things sound more divine than it may have been.

one thing i don't get is that if aliens made these structures, why are they so shitty compared to modern tech?
aliens would have more advanced tech than we do now, so they could do all sorts of cool shite...but they still go for stone?
I haven't seen much Ancient Aliens but I read a book on early civilizations and their "gods". The author speculated that there was some type of alien influence on these early civilizations but there were very few of them on earth.

If they were created by the civilization they could continue to advance it.
Not if they were wiped out by climate changes that forced them to abandon their way of life. A major drought could of killed them off and forced them away from building extravagantly and after a few generations, they wouldn't of been capable of it anymore.
I mean look at what Rome and Greece did and what became of Europe after the Romans fell.

As we have found out, if you give a remote island canned food they consider you a god.
You should go try that on North Sentinel Island.

The way I look at this is that Egyptians took a long time to build the pyramids. And they had travelers come in. Would they not have learned about these tools in their travels and brought hte knowledge elsewhere if it was understood?

When the Egyptians were around, just the ability to record things was technogically advanced.
We have lost a lot of our education and knowledge of the old world to stupid wars as well.

This is probably the best explanation on how the pyramids were built.
It takes away the amount of labor needed.
It takes away the amount of technology of tools needed to reproduce block after block.
It places the main burden of work on the pyramids on...WATER.

Does that address the whole time issue that people ignore?

Cement was not known in the new world until the Europeans brought the knowledge of it here.
could of been found by accident and forgotten like it was in Rome.

Im watching this right now (without sound) and I definitely think using water to move the rocks was very important. But that doesn't begin to tell you how the hell they got such perfect cuts. Water doesn't create 90 degree angles.

Why doesn't someone stranded on a desert island build a speedboat?

It explains that. Give it some time.

Im likely gonna have to watch at home after work. If it has any decent ideas then I wanna see and hear it.

I know it's not actually cement. I just said it looks like cement which is impossible because cement was totally unknown at that time.
Or because cement would have long eroded away
