This looks like a scene from Django Unchained.

You blind or just stupid?

He has one hand on the rope with his arm behind his body. If the guy in cuffs grabs the rope and takes off, officer has two options: (1) get yanked the frick off that horse or (2) drop the rope.

It either puts him at an unnecessary risk of injury or it’s pointless.

In fact if he were so inclined, he could take that cop off the horse and injure him in the process pretty easily.

So...the other cop would sit there with his thumb up his arse?

And if there were on the ground he could also try to run, knock the cop down, etc.

It's not "unnecessary" risk. The officer is at risk the entire time he/she is detaining a criminal, whether on foot, on a horse, a bike, whatever.

You're simply trying to justify your opinion that the cop was wrong.

“Just stupid” would have sufficed.

What’s he going to do? Shoot him to stop him from running? Then what is the point of the rope?

So what? Now we are apologizing to criminals?

Why? Because the criminal is black?

The people who look at stuff like this and cry racism have their own issues.

I'm sorry you're not able to make a valid point and have to resort to name calling.

Maybe try using logic and reason instead of your weeping vagina?

Look I am sorry, but I cannot help that you are too dense to understand that restraining the perp, then sitting him down and waiting for a squad car is safer for the officers and doesn’t cause the same PR shitstorm.

The police chief said so himself. But none of that matters to you because you don’t care about logic or reason.

The police chief is only responding to all of this because of the social media outrage. Let's keep in mind the police chief, who is black, was completely fine with this last week

And in the "Green" future of law enforcement, no carbon offsets will have to be bought to get the arrested dudes to their cells because no internal combustion engines were used.
