I think the South generally has the higher rates of vaccination in the country. It is one thing this region actually does well.

Don't call them anti vaxxers.
Call the idiots what they are, disease lovers.

Slow down there Stalin. Just because some people want to do stupid things to themselves, doesn't mean the gov't gets to hold them down against their will and poke them with a needle full of chemicals.
So instead we should just allow them to endanger those in our population who need herd immunity to survive?

I had measles as a kid (just like everyone else), it ran its course. Almost 50 years later, all good. Granddaughter had measles last year, it ran its course. She’s fine.
Had chickenpox as a kid (as did everyone else. Hell, parents would bring kids over to catch it so they could get it out of the way)it ran its course. Almost 50 years later, all good.
I will never contract Hep B because I’m not nursing from an infected mother, sharing needles or having sex with strangers.
I will never contract HPV because I’m not nursing from an infected mother or having sex with strangers.
I won’t contract polio, because I wash my hands, don’t have open sewer systems and I don’t eat other people’s shite.
1800 measles cases in the US since 2000. 11 deaths.
In the 90’s, there were on average 4,000,000 cases of varicella (chickenpox) per year. Of those cases, average mortality was 150 deaths “associated” with varicella.
I will say this- I’m not against vaccines totally, I’m against the amounts of vaccines suggested/required. I got 7 vaccination injections by the time I was six. Fast forward to 2014, if you follow the US vaccination schedule, a child will have almost 40 by the time they’re six years old.
The worst part IMO, is the fact that there is no testing done prior to the vaccinations. Babies aren’t tested for immunodeficiencies or genetic disorders before that nurse grabs the needle and pumps the chemicals.
Everyone believes Big Pharma is the evil when it comes to prices for life-saving drugs. Do you think vaccinations are any cheaper? Or is it the fact the the government subsidizes and endorses big pharma for the vaccines that makes you more than willing to trust their schedule or what’s in them.
There’s too many people on this planet as it is and the population is only increasing. The old won’t die because we’re propping them up. Infant mortality is down because we’re pumping them full of chemicals. Eventually something has to give.
The VICP, under the jurisdiction of the HRSA has paid out over $4 billion for vaccine injuries.
I’ll stop and let y’all downvote me off the board.

I hadn't thought about this. Im not familiar with the vaccination standards in Mexico, Honduras, etc.
You might have but other have. There are heat maps showing the large % of states’ populations with diseases that the US has had an active vacine programs for. If your state has a large illegal immigrant population, your states has high levels of the diseases that have traditionally been vaccinated for. Google it and be stun.
The possible disease issue doesn’t get much press but it scares the hell out of me.

Guess we could ban alcohol to prevent drunk driving or ban guns to prevent murders? Just because someone doesn't get vaccinated doesn't mean that you will be infected.
If schools or other public establishments need vac cards for admission, I have no problem with that. Forcing people to take chemicals at the direction of the gov't for the "greater good" is truly Orwellian.

You wont contract polio because vaccines have very nearly eradicated it from the globe.

What chemicals are you referring to?
Do you know what a vaccine is? What it does?
Do you understand antibodies?

My employer doesn’t let me drink on the job. Nor bring a firearm on campus.
It should be a simple choice. Vaccinate your children so they can attend school or don’t and home school them instead.

I live in Denver and am unfortunately surrounded by some of these wackjobs. I and my girlfriend have gone on rants about this on how to ostracize these people once we have a kid. It’s going to be a thorough “go frick yourself. If my kid gets a disease that was eradicated more 60 years ago, I’m coming for your fricking head and bash in the 3 ounces of brain matter that you possess.”
