Yes. My wife drives a minivan that looks just like that.
You're probably are the same guy in every new truck thread that says "(blank) looks just like (blank)" even though they don't look the same at all.

Meh, not really. If anything, they're the station wagons of today. But, essentially, most body on frame SUVs were (however large or small) the station wagons of their day.
There is a reason the station wagon was extremely popular and crossovers are now. They're definitely not my cup of tea, but I'm not going to dismiss the genius of the market. For some, a truck is all that will do, I get that. For others, a body on frame SUV is all that will do. I get that as well - I'm probably in that category if I have to give up my fancy sedans.
But, for the vast majority of drivers, particularly women, crossovers are going to be the dominant vehicle for the foreseeable future - particularly over mainstream 3-box sedans, econo coupes, etc.
Yeah, there some folks who will select an S (or even E-class) class (or Lexus equivalent) as a daily driver, just as some folks will end up in a Corvette, Carrera, etc. But that is a niche market.
Car salesmen are selling crossovers because that's what the market wants, not some secret plan to "minivan" America.

Yes.

I guess Toyota makes the girliest vehicles out there since women love 4Runners.
You didn't post a picture of a 4Runner, just FTR.
(ETA: The Highlander would be a closer comparison for your Edge there - and it's fairly feminine itself, although not as much as your Edge. Now, I am a Toyota/Lexus guy first, with Ford as my second choice. I would drive an Explorer, but I wouldn't be super proud of it. Edge? No way - might as well just join the other team at that point.

I know "wagon" is a dirty word to consumers, but those Outbacks and Crosstreks are fun, practical cars. Crosstrek just needs a V6 or a turbo option and Subaru across the board needs to update their trim levels.

It is, but I prefer station wagons to minivans/crossovers.

Wagons are more masculine than crossovers...but why shouldn't a woman drive a feminine vehicle? Wife's crossover is very girly.

The only sedan Ford should make is the Mustang. Stick with trucks and crossovers, get the Ranger going again, and keep my dividends flowing.

Good. Every one of those cars are pieces of shite

Don't they still make a BBC of shitty Chryslers? I have a 300 this week as a rental car...feels like I'm driving something made in 2000.

I actually don't dislike the Chrysler 300.
The Chrysler 200 is meh.

The engine is nice enough, and I couldn't stomach that POS Camry I had last week again.

I own a fully optioned 2010 MB C300 Sport. Hands down the best vehicle I've ever driven or worked on. 30 MPG on the highway.
Don't understand the appeal of crossovers. If I wanted a crossover I would just get a station wagon. Honestly, other than aesthetics I've never understood why anybody would choose to sedan over station wagon. It's a sedan with a bigger trunk. With a crossover you have to give up MPG. If my C300 was available in the US as a station wagon I would have got that without a second thought.
I also own a compact car that gets 36 on the highway but I have to give up comfort and creature features. I also own a true off road SUV but it gets 12 on the highway. If I could only keep one it would be the C300.
