Absolutely- Centurion heard you need to spend $10k a month to get invite
You have to be putting 250k per year to qualify.

I've never once asked for a limit increase. They just give it to me. Highest I have is like 30k, but I've got about 5 around that level. I open new cards when there is a good rewards program worth using. Quit using the other cards, but they all keep upping my limit.

When I used to build spec houses I would put a lot on my Amex Platinum just for point purposes. Paid a lot of large bills like the $75K you mentioned on it and never had an issue but like you said my spending pattern justified it.

No biggie my business partners and I are approved for $100k on our cards.
I think the largest purchase I have ever done was buying 8 trucks of lumber when we got 0% when we first setup the account . I forgot my PO book thinking I would bill through my buying group. I got a better deal than going through my buying group.
I used it buying a spring buy in when we went to a trade show for outdoor power equipment. I wanted to try a distributors aftermarket parts before setting up an account. Buy in was $50,000 to get $10,000 back right there in cash.
Then we do Xmas parties for the employees, customer appreciation events, and trainings that we send employees which we give them the credit card for travel.
You still have to pay it off by your next bill.

I keep stacks of $25k in cash.. On any given day I might have 6 or 7 stacks on me.. Sometimes more. I don't worry about stupid shite like credit cards.

gold card holder here....don't travel enough to justify platinum.
that said, I have no limit. I've been approved beyond $100k...….that's terrifying considering I am no where near that baller level.

It’s so classic Chris to try to make a joke brag post and just show his ignorance.

Why would it even have a limit?

I didn’t join platinum for limits. I joined for the perks and traveling a LOT.
I don’t know why, unless running a business, I would put that much on credit.

I spent that $200 airline credit like a fat kid in a candy store
I fly a few times a year and know I will never reach that even with my wife with me. So I always buy the guy next to me a drink or if I ask someone to switch seats with me then I buy their food and drinks. It is a great perk to have that costs nothing.
I really dig being a Gold member for Hilton and Marriott. Then the random Uber credits are always nice.

I wish I could donate Uber credits
I upgrade extra leg room all the time

Being stationed near Seattle I spend a lot of time in their airport. They have a great Centurion lounge.

It's way more than that and they look at what you spend it on.
