The converse isn’t true. There was a Japanese WWII veteran who attacked Pearl Bailey every December 7th.
[My disclaimer is that was my uncle Steve’s favorite joke up until the day he died. He was a WWII Navy veteran injured at Pearl Harbor while loading provisions from the Arizona’s dockside when she erupted. They found him later unconscious and sort of blown out of his wits buried in a bunch of demolished crates and boxes. RIP uncle Steve and aunt Leona. Miss y’all.]
