Went from Art Deco style to soulless Modernist.

This thing, The Farnsworth House, cost $75k to build in 1950. It's 1500 square feet.



I get different strokes for different folks, but damn. That has about as much style as Musk's Cybertruck that he "designed" on a napkin.

Frankly, anyone could sketch that house out with a T-square in about 10 minutes.

*btw-That house sold to a historic trust for $7.5 million around 2005.

Made a stop at Prairie and even Mid-Century Modern.

For me personally, Mid-century modern for a house. Craftsman a close second.

Fair Park in Dallas has some cool art deco buildings from the 30s.
