Classical, gothic, art deco—- anything other than another square building with no character.
It’s depressing every time I see a new building going up. The same box shape with bland colors. I understand it’s simply cheaper that way and don’t blame a company for financial responsibility.
But it also sucks.

While it leans more Beaux-Arts as a whole, when I stayed at the Congress Plaza in Chicago a few year back it had some Art Deco elements from later renovations.
