I doubt it. This has been around for a couple of years and it is still pretty speculative.

Without conclusive evidence, the mystery surrounding her disappearance has plagued historians, who have searched for new clues that could unveil what happened to one of America’s most endearing sweethearts and daring women of the 21st century.
21st century, huh? More recent than I thought.

Even in the article title it says "may".

That was always a possibility.

LOL

Gotta love researchers, ZERO proof(they dont know if its her bones), but they will make the claims anyway.

Crashing without killing yourself.

I've seen a few docs on this. I think the remains they found were hers, and that she died of exposure of dehydration. They even found bits of clothing and a makeup case.

I just think ocean currents and time have hidden the plane.

Wrong, she started cross dressing and adopted the handle "Mick Jagger". She's still alive and well.

She had them really long arms baw...

Seriously, I think there is a strong possibility that it was her, more from other articles and the documentary that I saw a long time ago. If she did land the plane and it was unable to fly again, she and her navigator probably didn't last very long before dying of dehydration. The documentary I saw said there was no access to clean water outside of rain water.
