From a fricking city on the other side of the fricking country is unacceptable
I feel bad for the kid who got stolen but there’s now a fricking thing I can do about it at 2:30 in the morning sleeping
What the frick is the point of sending this shite that wakes up the entire house at 2:30 in the morning??

Either turn off amber alerts or turn on Do not disturb. Phones now a days will even remember your bedtime and turn it in/off accordingly.

Yeah I had to turn them off because of this. Sending them out when they know most people are in bed sleeping is a dick move and won’t help in the finding of the kid because people are at home in bed.

Yeah, because people around the world would be perfectly fine with their land lines ringing in the middle of the night to let them know there was a missing child hundreds of miles away.
ETA: I was woken up exactly one time before I turned both amber and weather alerts off.

95% of amber alerts are just custody disagreements on when the kids should be picked up. One side gets mad and calls the cops
