I think the vitamins and other supplement stuff have the most fake reviews among all Amazon products. I always read a good sampling of reviews for any product. It's pretty easy to spot the fake ones, and it's often the only product that person has reviewed.
Amazon listens to complaints and feedback about this sort of thing. I ordered a tablet case a couple of years ago from a third-party seller on Amazon (it was even a fulfilled-by-amazon product). I received a poor quality counterfeit. I notified amazon and sent photos, and I'm guessing Amazon got enough complaints that the seller and his 100+ products were gone within a week.
A nice feature would be a filter to hide all reviews that aren't verified purchases.

I think there's just a particularly hardcore subset of vitamin and supplement users.

I bout the router in question about a year ago and it has performed great.
Bought it based on reviews too
I particularly like it due to its easy setup software.

What are you 12? Of course there are fake reviews on a lot of products selling on the Internet. Duh.

Damn, I have this router too. I guess my router is sorta famous now. Good for it.
What is it that makes this router not as good as others? The range is decent but I do sometimes question the throughput. I should be getting better speeds.

No one knows the manufacturer. At least two resellers stamp their names on it. It was more highly rated than the identical router with a different stamp. Reddit users decided to try to tank its value by writing bad reviews.
In short, nothing.

At the very least you should start ignoring the reviews completely.

It's really simple. Use amazon reviews as a tool, then just return it if you don't like it
Why wouldn't you look at the 1 and 2 star reviews?

I pretty much only pay attention to the 2-4* reviews. 5* reviews seldom mention anything bad, and 1* reviews rarely mention anything good.

While we're at it women shouldn't be allowed to leave reviews. Or atleast their review should be flagged as having been written by an axe wound.
" I got the item for my boyfriend. It hasn't arrived yet but I know he will love it. 5 stars"
" This item doesn't fit in my drawer like I had hoped. 1 star"

Women may not be smart or funny, but we know how to bitch about what's wrong
I have never had a bad experience buying from amazon. If I don't already know what I'm buying and just getting it cheapest there - which is one of the main benefits of amazon that I think y'all are forgetting - then I read most of the reviews
It's like y'all are fricking retarded
