This photo reminded me of something that happened many, many years ago while I was in Baton Rouge. True story. A coworker (Bill) from the company I was with at the time was promoted to a new position of importance at the national headquarters in Saint Louis. He was single, and didn't have a place, yet, so he shipped all his stuff to the company and planned to pick it all up when he arrived and got him an apartment.
Some warehouse guy didn't know what the stuff was when the packages came in, and he opened up one container and found twenty pounds of weed, wrapped just like that. He turned it in to his manager, who figured out where it came from. The coworker arrived on his flight the next day, got a cab and probably walked in to the company entrance like he was all hot shite. There were two deputies there to arrest him as he received his pink slip. Cuffed and hauled off to jail, he was convicted and sent to prison for five years and got out after two years.
He was a jerk, too. He was the Weinstein of the company.

If it was a "sting", there's no way the cops would let them get the merchandise in their hands without grabbing them immediately. Especially wouldn't let them bring it in their home behind locked doors for a substantial amount of time. Couldn't risk it being destroyed or moved via unseen circumstances.

Almost every case I've seen they allowed the suspect to accept the package.
