I'm thinking hard about the fire tablet, especially if it's that easy to turn into an android tablet.

I almost bought it.

We already have a chromebook, a laptop, and a couple of the basic fire tablets. Last thing I need is another device.

Do we need to add Amazon to the growing list of things that the OT rages at?

Which one did you go with?

the golf feature would be nice but it doesn't look like they have one with the golf stuff plus heart rate monitoring, etc.

I went with the Vivoactive 4, 45mm. Battery life is supposed to be a week and I love that it's waterproof.

The HRM is supposed to be only ok, but I wear an armband HRM when I'm interested in that anyway.

If anyone is interested they have their Ninja Pressure Cooker with the crisper lid at an all-time low.

It's $141 with $8.50 cash back if you use the Amazon store card. LINK

I've been using it to make chicken pot pie and pot roasts, both of which are excellent.

I bought the same one yesterday. After looking at them all that one seemed like the best bang for your buck.

I have an 8 qt instant pot, and I have an air fryer lid.

I use those two things more than anything else in my kitchen now.

More common than you'd think. That first shipment of vans had the door frames installed upside down, plastic where metal should be and metal where plastic should be so a little bit of force would knock them clean off.

Nothing wrong with buying high quality discounted products on Prime Day, IMO. Got some American-made toys for the kid and a Vitamix.

But I do agree that 95% of Amazon is stuff like "Mens's genuine leather men's brown RFID blocking slim men's leather wallet cardholder vegan by WOOLOO" and I try and avoid buying any of Amazon's IP-thieving Chinese shite.

Here are brands represented when you search for "immersion blender" - you have to go through a page of "Healthomse" "KOIOS" "VAVSEA" "SHARDOR" "COMFEE'" "MAKOLOCE" "COLAZE" "EderRoco" "ALLKEYS" and "EVERUS" - all real "brands".

There are about 20 by those brands and about 3 by brands you've heard of. I'm amazed Amazon doesn't get even more shite on the IP angle.

Its almost impossible to keep up with what politards are "boycotting" these days. Its nearly everything under the sun at this point that one side or the other is boycotting or protesting about.

We need a list of acceptable places to shop at bc it’ll be a lot shorter than the boycott list
