Yeah, you are full of shite and so is the $7 bell pepper guy. I guess it makes you sound cool though.

And I rarely shop at Wholefoods.

Does Lafayette have a WF? Just curious.

The only grocery store I go out of my way to avoid is Walmart/Neighborhood Walmart. That's strictly because I don't want to deal with a crowd and the selection their is pretty rough.

I'm also happy to hear that Rouses is moving in to the BR market.

I wish Amazon would just stick to what they do best. It's like the Peter Principle for businesses.
Did you say the same thing about Apple 17 to 20 years ago?

I love Whole Foods and I'm to the right of Attila the Hun. But, there are a lot of pretentious, far left wackos shopping there who have inexplicably ended up with shite tons of money that they can't seem to give away.

So, there's that...

Sounds like you have some insecurity issues. I shop at Whole Foods specifically because the people there are more enjoyable than the plebs of Walmart.

Let's be honest, you don't shop at WF because you feel inferior.

idn't Amazon recently open up a store where you could just go in, get shite and walk out and it like automatically charges you or something? Maybe this is their way of getting a bunch of stores to implement the new technology for no checkouts.
They tried to pilot it and I believe they had issues with it.

Yes, and it has a pretty good bar in it.

That's why I like the place for a trip or two per month. It's nice pulling into the parking lot and there are no scraps of fried chicken and empty fast food bags laying around. People are parked correctly and driving the correct way down the lanes. There aren't a 100 carts scattered all over the place.

There aren't idiots blocking the aisles and fatties on scooters.
And despite what the baws claim of being able to get the same stuff at Walmart and Krogers at 50% cheaper, the meat, produce, cheese, and beer, etc are far better than the shite grocery stores.

With that said, many local stores have stepped up their game in the last five years and do a much better job with having quality ingredients.

not a fan of the purchase. wife loves WF, but it's expensive and frankly i think their hot food sucks.

AMZN tends to know what to do though, so good luck.

I find the Walmart Neighborhood Markets very convenient and it's basically just the old Walmart before they went crazy and start putting in Super Walmarts everywhere

Whole Foods has great lunch buffet/sandwiches/pizza.

I do it all the time, sit there, and look at the scenery of hot women in yoga pants.

They are actively trying to make their everyday groceries more affordable, but its still not there yet. They are planning a launch of a 365 Store line that is whole foods only brand I believe that will be more affordable.

I had to develop a business model for Whole Foods for my MBA about a year ago to turn around their fledgling growth numbers.

I have ZERO doubt Amazon will right this ship. They are pioneers in efficiency and growth.

Not sure what you're getting at. Not wanting to be around trashy people means I'm insecure? Do you live in a trashy neighborhood? Why would you want to shop with trashy people?

Are you going there to socialize or to buy products? Why does it matter that "uppity counts" shop there? I'm not talking to them. You people spend way too much energy judging other people rather than worrying about your own shite.

That said, I don't go there very often. A lot of the stuff is not good value, in my opinion. I'll buy some meat from there occasionally.
