Amazon Delivery & Sam’s Club Delivery

Anybody else find that as Amazon builds more warehouse and delivery distribution centers, the timeliness, accuracy and reliability of the deliveries are getting worse? Also, why do they deliver multiple times in one day, one item at a time as opposed to batching everything for one stop?
Also, FYI, many times if you order a shipment delivery from Sam’s Club, as opposed to a local store delivery, they will still deliver it from the local store, same day many times, but since you asked for shipment delivery, you were not charged a delivery fee and were not asked to tip.

They run trucks all day. As soon as a truck is loaded you have to get it in on the road. You can’t wait for 2 boxes in your region. Next man will grab it.

You can choose at checkout to have all items delivered in as few stops as possible.

Same-day delivery is great in my area

Just the opposite for us. Same day 40-50% of the time, next day for the rest, except maybe 1 out of 50 things that takes 2-3 days, I assume because it is a rare item and warehoused fairly far away.

You’re obviously a logistical expert, your move Amazon

Sam’s Club is a subsidiary of Walmart.
Ole Sam Walton would be rolling over in his grave at what some of his children have done.
But Jeff Bezos (Amazon) doesn’t have a clean conscience either. His exwife is just as bad in donating some of her wealth to baby killing causes.

They probably need to train their drivers.
Last week I went to visit my Grandmother who lives on a dead end street. The guy couldn’t back up, turn around or nothing.
After 15 minutes, He finally let me get in his truck and back his truck up so he could get drive down the street.
He said he was new…. I could tell he had no business driving thst thing.

Yes. Worse and worse.
I haven't received an order in the original Prime delivery window since before Covid. Delivery on anything averages four days now, forget about same or next day. I'm very close to a warehouse, too. It has done nothing to improve our delivery time. Hell, it has gotten worse since it opened.

This woman’s political views are irrelevant to today’s Walmart and Sam’s Club. She is one of Sam Walton’s daughters, so what! She is rich because the work her dad did.
Why would her views upset you to the point that you rail against the companies her father started and attempt to change the subject of this post?
Everything does not have to be spiteful or politically related.

Amazon really does not give a crap about their goods business. They are pushing more and more 3rd party sellers on their website with zero regard to the quality of the products.
They basically act as the middle man collecting taxes and doing the bare minimum to get you the product. They give this to the lowest possible cost delivery.
You generally get much better delivery times, and higher quality products from ordering anywhere else but Amazon.

Yep, I can tell when it's not my normal driver. They will try and back down my driveway and just give up and walk it to my house or just park at the road.
Since the Abbeville distribution center opened, my deliveries are almost always next day and I am near Breaux Bridge. Can even watch them on the pap to see where the truck is and how many more stops before it gets to your house.
How they are preventing theft shrinkage at that center is beyond me. Cant believe their vans don't have more bullet holes.

Better and better for us. Don't even ask for next day, but most is 2 day unless it's obscure item

If so, that makes her even more irrelevant

You can also byob in the Walmart pickup spots where they bring it out to your car and load it, while you listen to the braves game on the radio and sip a cold one.
