I’m no Marxist or socialist, Bolshevik or communist, but let’s not act like a company that can exert that much power and influence over a nation and its people is a good thing.
What if Amazon just decided retroactively who can be on its cloud based platform based on how that company’s politics lined up with theirs?
I feel the same with google and Facebook, Twitter, and various other monopolies out there.

Is it out of the question that this could happen? Bezos is rich enough to fund his own private armies. Obviously, I don’t believe that he would do that himself, but he would definitely put the screws to governments to do something about it if it hurt his bottom line 100%. Which may as well be the same thing.
