Am I wrong for being bothered by this?

I’ll try to keep this brief. I have a coworker who’s a morbidly obese lesbian addicted to K-pop and Harry Stiles. Several months back she was in a car wreck with a drunk driver, but it was her fault since she was nosed out into traffic when he hit her. She broke her arm pretty badly so she was out of work for at least a month, came back for a couple days but apparently had an incident where she got stuck on the toilet and peed on herself so she was gone another month and a half.
Since it was her fault she had to pay for damages, plus she missed all that work time so we took up a collection at work and then somebody started a gofundme for her that raised like 2 grand. Nice little story about people coming together right?
Well she came back to work Friday because she finally got her cast off and we were talking about what had been going on since she had been away from the office and one of the things she mentioned was going to the Billboard Music Awards to see her favorite K-pop band and said it was the best $420 she ever spent.
If I had known I was contributing to her concert ticket fund I never would’ve given her anything. Is this one of those cases where it’s her money now and she can do whatever she wants with it or Would you also be pissed that this money we all figured was going to bills went to watch a Korean boy band?

Yeah that sucks, but you can only give meaning well and not worry about the rest

If you’re drunk, it’s always your fault

You can only control what you can control. She spent the money, she's going. You can get your panties in a wad about it, and guess what, she still going to go

You did a good thing. You did your part. Take comfort in that and MoveOn.

Don't let it bother you, but just remember for the future that fat lesbians are usually entitled and have no social awareness.

Wait til she gets the settlement from the drunk drivers insurance. You’ll really be pissed

Why would you ever donate money to a cünt like that?

This is the topic we should be discussing.

She got the ticket for the wreck since she was sticking out into traffic but he got arrested for DUI. But from what I gathered she has no recourse with the other driver since it was her fault.

Pretty sure the drunk is going to end up holding he flaming bag of dog doo on this one Johnny Cochran.
As for pissing yourself at work. Bold strategy on her part.

Maybe that helped her out mentally. Quit trying to control other peoples lives

Despite the way the public acts these days stories like this secure my faith in the justice system in this great country.

A drunk driver isn't getting damages from a wreck

Yeah, if she can afford to spend money on a $450 concert then she can afford not to need to take charity from others. That's pretty shitty and says something about her character. It would definitely affect the benefit that I would give her in the future.
