i'm 41 and have lived in it most of my life so I probably have more tolerance for it than someone from Minnesota but I don't like it. June through September in South Louisiana is miserable to me.

This. I’ve been in Louisiana 39 years. I hate the summer here. It’s stifling. & The kids drive me crazy in July because they will no longer endure the heat in the great outdoors. And i can’t really blame them.

It’s interesting to watch how kids naturally, without being prompted, will stay outside for hours and hours during the Spring and Fall. I always thought that was neat. It never fails.

I love the summer. It's hot as shite but when I wake up, I know it's going to be a beautiful day to see the sun beaming and not some miserable, rainy, cold weather. I'm acclimated to the heat. I can work all day in it.

Yeah that's why I left Louisiana.

That and the crime.

and the corrupt politics.

and the general poverty.

I sure do miss the crawfish and gumbo though.

It’s miserable and I’ve been here my whole life. I can just be standing outside not doing anything and I feel like I’m under a hose.

It’s always hot here in Memorial Day weekend and usually wet. At least we won’t have the deluge this year.

I’ve actually dropped some lb’s. I work in a yard doing physical shite all day so there’s that. Plus boozing from the night before.

I’m starting to get tired of the Deep South’s heat, but it’s better than a Midwest winter

I don't mind the weather in the South 7-8 months out of the year but June through Sept are brutal.

My dad leaves every summer and comes back in October since he's been retired.
