I feel like I am being insensitive to my gf, but I just don't give a frick about this "holiday." I have a lot of shite going on this week, and Valentines day is on the back burner.

You think it's a stupid manufactured holiday and you refuse to partake.
You don't need a special holiday to tell you to love your s/o, and you do it year round.
Your s/o thinks it's stupid to waste money on flowers and candy for this day.
You hate Valentine's day but worship March 14th.

I feel you. I am trying to not be an a-hole, but I am trying to be more honest and open in this relationship than my last. Honesty makes me come across as an a-hole sometimes though, so I guess I just need to be smart about it.
