Well, at least he finally gets to meet with an adult black male that wants to talk to him.
His dad sure didn't
His dad sure didn't

It's not like he came out and said he didn't do anything wrong. Just that he thought he was a good guy. I wouldn't expect differently from a family member.
Blasphemous.
By and large people on the OT have a difficult time handling the nuances of any situation. Many people, myself included, think the Sterling shooting was wholly justified, but does that mean we lose any and all sympathy for his kids who lost a father? I'm not going to persecute them for their father's shortcomings, which is putting it mildly.
Any optimism, any hope, is considered contrarian on this site. You're much better off swimming with the current and calling the kid and there rest of the family thugs and pieces of shite and watching the upvotes rain upon your posts.

.If he grows up to be a contributing member on account of meeting the president it is worth it.
if anything, all this meeting will do is justify his anger towards police and for him to push the narrative that cops are murdering racists

How good do you find your own farts to smell?

I respect your commitment to the most technical of interpretations whenever you ask someone to link something. This isn't the first or last time I've done this with you and every time you nitpick your way through the comments trying to weasel yourself out when any reasonable interpretation of the comments proves you're wrong.

Remember when you had to be important to sit down and shake hands with the most powerful man in the World because he was off somewhere doing umm IDK, leading the The fricking country?!

It's not technical. You said people called the kid a piece of shite. You links don't show that. You're inventing an argument just to have it.

Again, how good do you find your stench to be?

this is a political move at its core..

Why does he have to say anything at all?
The masses here have repeatedly called his family out for not saying anything about the protests and crime in the community. His son makes comments denouncing violence, drugs, and violent protests and, predictably, the masses here are up in arms about that. It's quite possible, even probable, that the someone thought that the message would resonate more if delivered by the son. Apparently, not with the OT.
Some of you are quite comical, without even meaning to be

Alton Sterlings' son is meeting with Obama today
Why? Meeting the slain Dallas police families was the right thing to do. Will Obama also be meeting the family of the slain Cane's employee who unlike Alton didn't break any laws or have a rap sheet a mile fricking long? Like other posters have said, this is for pub only.
I wasn't going to vote for prez, because the election has the aura of the Duke--Edwards election, but frick all this, I'm definitely voting and voting for Trump.

of course it would because people get more emotional about things when you involve kids
kid is being used as a pawn

He already met with them privately.

I think others would disagree, but regardless, the other two GoFundMe threads were deleted. Why do you think that is?

I understand your point, but the point is that he favors criminals over cops.
On that point I have been impressed with the younger Sterling.

That's probably why he used the verb "was."

I don't give a shite what others think. I'm pretty confident in my knowledge of what words mean.

Probably because you were in it arguing the same shite with everyone for days.

Because of his speech yesterday? I mean I would get that sentiment if he was out there spewing some BS to whip people into a frenzy, but his message was one of peace and unity. Even if he's being used as a pawn, at least it is the right message to the intended audience.
