Just more proof that cops do more harm than good. I'm sick of these state-sponsored killers.

I won't go as far as the other guy.

I merely hope you stub your toe.

The next time you do, remember this moment.

I doubt many cops in that situation are going to fire once and pause to see how they did and whether or not the perp is still coming either.

They are likely going to open up and fire a few times until they realize the perp is down.

I'll take care of myself and my loved ones.
If it's a medical situation, thank God for paramedics - you know, the ones who show up and try to do the opposite of killing.

Anyway, I really glad to have this outlet to discuss this situation. My wife wants to just shut her eyes and dwell on how sad it is, but here people will actually debate whether the shooting was a "good kill" or a "bad kill" and talk about the situation in practical terms.

I'm on Facebook, but there is no middle ground on there. People are either "don't resist arrest, don't get killed" or "another black man killed, when will it ever end." Everybody who might discuss the subtleties of the situation objectively is silent.

I stay completely nonpartisan on social media. My view on any controversial issue is not out there to be associated with my name for all eternity.

In May 2009, he was selling CDs outside a convenience store when a Baton Rouge officer asked if he had any weapons or drugs on him, according to a police report. Sterling didn’t answer, and the officer had him put his hands on the police car, the report said. While being frisked for weapons, Sterling tried to reach into his front left pocket for an unknown item, the officer wrote. Sterling then tried to run from the officer, who grabbed the back of his shirt and pushed him to the ground. During the struggle, a stolen 9mm semi-automatic pistol fell from Sterling’s waist band, the report said. Officers also found a small plastic bag of suspected marijuana in Sterling’s front left pocket. Sterling later pleaded guilty in May 2011 to illegal carrying of a weapon with a controlled dangerous substance, and was sentenced to five years in July 2011.

But this officer should have known better and tackled him. . Officer sounds too calm for the job. Fail.

Wow. The guy at allegedly tells the cop he has a license for conceal and carry. He allegedly goes for his license and registration and his shot dead . If true, the cop is trigger-happy and should be fired as well as charges brought up against him.

So nothing really happened except for a rap concert crowd broke out at a north foster intersection?

Hopefully this is all that happens and it will blow over after a few more days

Once The race baiters get to town they'll stir up a fight and riots you can bet on it.
The 24 hour news cycle needs it for ratings also.

Most of the protesters had to get up for work this morning so they shut it down early. This weekend, they'll demonstrate more.

Yeah...that may be where the protesters should be focused right now, not in BR.

It sounded like the cop knew he fricked up.
