What exactly are you gonna do a gofundme for? Billboards?

I understand the sentiment but something like this is going to take more extraordinary means than hoping someone calls crimestoppers.

The OT has the power to organize. Watch. Work in the back channels.

Red tape and politics ties certain hands.
I’m just saying, perhaps it’s time to think outside the box

Whatever scumbag did it is probably long gone out of state. The hood protects their own and got the scumbags out of state by now.

I don’t want the police to find this guy. I want a vigilante to find him and make his death really slow and painful.

I’d gladly donate to the gofundme of the vigilante.

I think the gofundme should be a lump sum to crime stoppers.

If we all say we are donating to crime stoppers no one knows who gave and how much. It’s hard to keep track of and therefore loses momentum.

If this story takes off and the gofundme goes viral it could raise a lot more money for a reward than telling people to donate to crime stoppers

But I’m open to this too

I was thinking of raising money for a crime stoppers reward.

If we don’t have any evidence (that’s what it’s looking like) then someone needs to talk

The only way someone is going to talk is cash

Billboards are great for raising awareness and money but only cash is going to get someone to talk to the cops.

THIS

A cash reward is the only way to get info. Gotta get someone to tell on his “buddy”

If it blows up and goes National it could raise 100k in a week easy. Worse causes have raised a lot more. I guarantee you those pieces of shite around there will be climbing over each other to talk to crime stoppers for 100k

Or you start breaking some nuts and see if the squirrels talk.

Pressure needs to be put on the mayor. The governor. Make them uncomfortable. Protest outside their homes.

You want to scare the birds, you start beating the bushes.

Make people start to sweat. Make them squirm. If the citizens have to be nervous, so should they.

If all this makes you, angry, then get angry. Do something. Electric depot is right there. Seems like a perfect setting for a real gathering and discussion of what needs to be done. Make people look and see what’s really going on.

I’m up for that too. I don’t think the solution has to be singular, I just think it has to involve a reward or else there will be no evidence.

Glad to hear that this story is picking up national attention. The more pressure on BR officials the better.

I agree, if the monetary sum is large enough for a reward the hoodrat community will absolutely talk. They know who did this, the same way they knew who was behind the Fairway View massacre.

If it’s something like $5K you’ll hear silence where the “snitches get stitches” code among that specific community will take over.

More importantly, the more people will start digging into Baton Rouge’s crime stats which will in and of itself out tons of pressure on the mayor and police department. People will see what everyone sees but is afraid to say out loud.
