It seems like they are certain she was in Mid-City before the incident. It looks like she went to get food from Sonic or McDonalds downtown, because Kiran reported she was eating French fries. It was after she left there that she headed back East down Government and was shot.
I'd watch the surveillance footage from the Sonic/McDonalds and see if anyone followed her from there.
I just wish we had a timeline of what happened or what they think happened.

According to her tiktok, she lived in a dorm at LSU. Or at least it appears that way. For her to be heading east on Government, that would imply she was going to some place, not going back home. But where would she have been heading at 2:00am other than home, though? I know places are still open then, but on a Thursday night? I don’t know, just seems her night would’ve been ending at that time instead of still going on. Is it possible she had been trying to get away from someone who was following her? So many unknowns right now.

Now that I’m looking closer, yes, I think she was shot on the EAST side of the tracks. So definitely likely she was heading back home then.

I just realized WAFB’s skycam tower is pretty fricking close. Hopefully their camera may have caught something, if it records consistently. It’s pretty damn clear. If nothing else it could have the shooter leaving the scene.

Hmm, pretty sure I saw a tiktok she made of her dorm room. Maybe that’s just what she called it? I assumed it was on campus.

The Family & Youth Service Center closer to the interstate has a quality looking camera on the corner of its building. Maybe that caught the shooter leaving? Maybe? If they went that way.

My source said it was random, impulse killing. Similar to gang initiation, serial killer, or road rage. She was targeted for a reason unknown to her and executed. There is an unspoken concern in BRPD that this was one of several “thrill kill” shootings. Some have resulted in wounded victims, not dead. One or a group just riding around and shooting up a random car, house, or person.

That's likely someone who knows her.
Or more likely someone who wanted to know her.
Lady bartenders blow off lots of dudes who could feel slighted.
That's a lot more reasonable event than the random improbable gang fantasy that people keep mentioning.
