See this is the kind of shite that a very simple statement from police could clear up and it would at least appear to the public that they care about the case and have more information than the idiots at The Advocate.

The shooting was on the east side of the tracks. No idea where she was going, but it stands to reason that she was headed towards downtown. Was that where she lived?

It shouldn’t matter, but most young white females don’t wonder around questionable hoods at 2am unless they are looking for illegal drugs. And everyone that knows Allison says that she isn’t that type. She’s a straight shooter that wasn’t into that lifestyle.

She was likely going from a restaurant or bar to her house or a friends house. So there is a good chance that a business out there has video of her there. Maybe someone was watching her or she rejected some drunk a-hole with a gun. Maybe someone followed her and they are on camera.

This does look really fricking weird, and very random. And random shootings with no apparent theft involved almost never happen. The silence from police, the mayor, and even LSU is telling a big story here. There are elements to the shooting that are still unfolding. People are waiting for the facts to come out before they pounce on law enforcement or the mayor. There might be some truth to the theory that we have another serial killer type that is targeting random people similar to the highway shooter in New Orleans. Or someone was following her home from wherever she was coming from.

I hope that BRPD has a camera or eyes on the memorial. If not, they are total fricking twats.

Objectively, what lifestyle do you see for that field?

I really feel for her family, but people have many lives that they may not share.

Any thoughts on the vehicle shootout from earlier today? It was somewhat close by and perhaps related? Maybe this was mistaken identity and the person they were looking for was really involved in the shootout today? Of course it’s Baton Rouge so it could definitely just be a coincidence that a shootout between two vehicles happened in roughly the same general area today.

She was at a bar or restaurant, and probably with friends. So there is almost certainly camera footage of her out there somewhere and potentially someone that was watching her.

I suppose it’s possible in this case, but extremely unlikely. Everyone that knows her says she was on the up and up.

It’s entirely possible that she was ambushed at the train crossing. Yea someone could’ve followed her but she was trying to make a U-turn at the tracks. Something spooked her to make her not want to stay there and wait for the train to pass.

Also, if it’s the serial killer route, has anyone mentioned the possibility of the shooter being on the train, waiting for a car to be stopped at a crossing to open fire? The gunfire on that link posted by the media certainly sounds high powered like a rifle. It’s plausible that someone could’ve been sitting in an empty car waiting for the moment to open fire then hopped off elsewhere, leaving the gun in the train car. Hopefully the police have considered this and have tracked down the train.
