Just how many people need to be killed to justify eradicating them: 10, 50 100, 1000?

I don’t know. More than 1, who never should have been in the water in the middle of the night in the first fricking place?

I asked you to name the other scavengers who are not predators and pose no threat to humans to fill the void of gators.

In short, all the ones that filled the void 50 years ago when they were almost extinct.

BTW , gators aren’t scavengers

They are to the point they will readily eat rotting flesh, hence hunters use it to catch them. Otherwise they are apex predators and thank you for making my point.

Thinking that Alligators should be eradicated completely because they kill someone like once a century is indeed a shockingly dumb opinion. And he has this opinion basically because a gator scared him and his son. Makes sense that our natural world is in such shambles when there are actually humans with outlooks like that.

There are countless things that kill more people than alligators in any given year. Should we eradicate/ban all of those things as well? Because that is his argument.

I believe for larger prey they don’t eat them for a while. Sounds like they were possibly in the process of doing so when they were spotted.

Indeed. Interesting folks are in an uproar over an alligator, yet it’s the parents who didn’t have the home secure if the kid was special needs and reported 5 hours later.

One more reason the LDWF needs to open a season for everyone on alligators, this is getting redicoulos, 2 per person per year, like why hasnt this happened already.

WDSU Investigates has uncovered court documents detailing a troubling past for Hilda Vasquez, 34, the mother of Bryan Vasquez, a 12-year-old nonverbal boy with autism whose body was recovered this week from a lagoon near the area where he went missing two weeks ago.

Court records reveal that Hilda Vasquez, previously convicted of simple cruelty, regained custody of her son despite documentation of severe injuries he sustained in 2013.

In November 2013, a 3-month-old boy was rushed to the hospital after an incident in which he began vomiting blood and stopped breathing, according to court records. The infant was diagnosed with a pneumothorax (collapsed lung), retinal hemorrhages, fractured ankles, fractured legs, and a fractured skull. Further evaluation revealed a punctured lung. Doctors concluded the injuries were consistent with child abuse.

Court documents state that Hilda Vasquez was unable to explain how her son’s injuries occurred. One record noted that, prior to the hospital visit, she and her boyfriend were watching television when the baby began screaming as if "someone was squeezing him."

This is looking like it won't be the second alligator caused fatality in Louisiana afterall.

should we call off the alligator extermination? There’s still time but we need to let them know soon

I can't deal with that right now. I'm busy killing all the honeybees to save the children.
