That's part of your problem. DuckDuckGo at least puts FoxNews in the top 5. DDG at least has alternative sources like Heavy, and two local news stations in the top ten results. Interestingly, no NPR or AP.

Nearly nobody alive has been taught to search the web properly, and so we get spoon-fed whatever is in the top results, and think that is the whole story. For instance, when you change the DDG search from "Mauricio Garcia" to "Mauricio Garcia Hispanic," you at least see different content from more varied sources (almost all of them left leaning, but at least it's a different perspective on why a Latino would be a "white supremacist.") Not high quality stuff, but at least it's not the same message, over, and over, and over again.
