Up to 70% off. Got some great deals, baws. Bout to pull the trigger on some penny loafers, a couple belts, and maybe even some suede boots

Isn’t the most recent consensus on this board is that their quality isn’t the same as it once was? I’ve heard some negative reviews lately.

For about ten years I exclusively wore AE for work shoes. But the price kept going up and the cut narrowed slightly and my size didn’t feel right anymore. At 70% off they are still a real good deal if you check the sizes and fit.

They have gone down a bit. So has Johnston and Murphy.

I wonder what they're doing to improve margins...

I so miss AE cronmoks. My favorite pair of shoes ever, and right when I discovered them, they discontinued them.

I was told this by a shoe salesmen who stopped carrying Allen Edmunds in favor of Alden.

Yeah me too. They are still my main pair of shoes, though they are starting to look pretty rough. They feel like glove leather.

They make their cheaper ones in the Dominican Republic.

I wonder how many of these complaints are from those buying online. AE. Really pushes online sales. I've never seen an issue with store bought ones and would like to know how many complaints are coming from customers who buy them in a store.
