Promo work or annoucning?

His promo work as a heel is top notch. He had to make it all work against austin.

Playing off Austin wasnt easy, you had to be top. And austin was on fire because of his own work obviously, but his amazing feud with Hart,..and ironically what Vince did to Hart. Thus "creating" his own character.

Austin was white hot because Vince was stoking the fire.

1 dimensional. Luckily for him, it was the only dimension he needed, and to his credit.. he made it work.

If Hall and Nash hadnt been doing what they were doing, Hogan may have just floundered away. Same with savage. (Which was unfortunate, because savage was very talented)

WCW didnt have creative..say what you want, but Scott Hall was the one with the real mind for that business. Nash was good once he got on board, he could help make it cool but that was all Scott Hall making it believable from the very first moment he went on their tv. IMO Scott Hall saved that entire promotion and gave it a real chance. If he had stayed sober early on, I believe he could be in a leadership position today with the company, that could be up there with HHH behind the scenes.

After everything he has done by disrespecting the fans, business and himself..he is still over.

Getting hogan to turn heel was only something those guys could have done, and made work. But even when doing promos at the start, Hogan was still doing his "Hogan stuff".

They helped him be "cool".

Honestly, as long as Flair & Savage is on there I don't care about anyone else.

In that order. #1 is undisputed but you can make a good case for all the other 3 in any other order. I put Jericho as #2 though because he’s the GOAT at getting under anyone’s skin
