Presuming there are a lot of comments about methamphetamines and water in this thread. . . I'd rather deal with those problems than have a racist mayor who hates the police.

I had a grandmother that lived off Gardere Ln from the 60's until she died in the early 00's.

I was sad to see how section 8 destroyed alot of those neighborhoods.

If you're going to make a move, make a move. Try a new state. You'll be amazed at the difference depending where you go. Livingston Parish has never been the answer to problems in Louisiana.

Come on over to the LP, the water's fine. We have been expecting you.

For an area that is regularly laughed at on the OT, people sure do move there in droves. I can tell you that the average house in a subdivision in LP sells in a matter of days at and I've seen several homes here not make it a week. I bought a home there 4 years ago and it's worth much more than what I paid for.

It's got its trashy elements but where in Louisiana doesn't have trashy elements? So many good people packed their bags for greener pastures in other states.

Kino, people tend to make fun of areas they are jelly of. Proven fact.

LP is such an eyesore for a state that is generally an eyesore for the nation. Why anyone would voluntarily live there is beyond me. I mean, unless they have a meth addiction.
